Originally from Portugal, Bernardo is a scout, rider and breeder based in Deauville, France. He sources and produces the international show jumpers of the future, and develops his own breeding program at MouraStud.
Fourth generation of the Moura family to compete in the saddle, Bernardo has been based near Deauville for the past ten years — being at every showground, developing a close relationship with riders, breeders and owners.
His own competition record reached international GP3* level, and he has participated in two Portuguese National Championships (1.60m). He applies that same standard when judging a horse for a client, whether the goal is a first amateur class or the Grand Prix ring.
He speaks English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
